  • Wanted to try out this new place and the food isn’t something I would return for but I’m sure that whoever likes the Ecuadorian style plates would absolutely enjoy it. My husband enjoyed the steak plate.

  • Food was excellent, big portions and super nice people. Also price was excellent , every plate only costs $15 to $17 dollars. Definitely going back again and again.

  • Not fancy, but they are trying. It's my impression that they are focusing more on flavorful dishes at a great price with attentive service. Spanish is spoken and that's what translation apps are for. Big plate with well prepared sides. Very good find! Will be back. Nice touch on Mother's Day. All women received a rose as they left. This place is the real deal and you will likely leave with leftovers.

  • ⸻ Being Ecuadorian, it truly pains me to say this — the lack of effort here was disappointing, especially considering the rich culinary and cultural traditions we have to offer. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt underwhelming. The decor was very plain, lacking the vibrant and welcoming touch you often find in Ecuadorian establishments. A few cultural elements, traditional decorations, or even some Ecuadorian art could have made a big difference in creating a more authentic experience. The music playing wasn’t even Ecuadorian, which was a missed opportunity to set the mood and showcase our culture. The service was another weak point. There was only one waitress managing around 8 to 9 tables, which clearly left her overwhelmed. While she was doing her best, it was hard to engage or get recommendations. The lack of personal touch or enthusiasm was noticeable, and it impacted the overall dining experience. Unfortunately, this also led to a long wait time — over 25 minutes before our food arrived, likely due to the short staffing. When it came to the food, there were some highlights but also room for improvement: • Hornado: The pork was surprisingly juicy and flavorful — easily the best part of the meal. It had that nice tender texture and rich taste that hornado should have. • Potato: Disappointingly bland. It had some color but lacked seasoning; a bit more attention to flavor would have elevated it. • Salad: Very simple and could have used a touch of salt or a better dressing to bring it together. • Cholafán: Decent overall. It had a nice mix of flavors but didn’t particularly stand out. • Encebollado: A healthy option, and it was executed fairly well — fresh, light, and flavorful, though not exceptional. Parking was also a bit of a challenge, as the area is shared with other nearby businesses, so it can get crowded. Overall: The restaurant shows potential, but it feels like it’s missing the passion and pride that should shine through in an Ecuadorian dining experience. With more attention to detail — from ambiance, service, and seasoning, to cultural authenticity — it could become a much more inviting place. As it stands now, it’s an average experience that leaves you wanting more, especially if you know what true Ecuadorian hospitality and cuisine can offer
